New platform for book professionals

New, fresh and digital – the platform «Translate Swiss Books» enables international publishers, translators, event organisers and other professionals from the world of books to gain swift and uncomplicated access to information and tips on the latest in Swiss literature. «Translate Swiss Books» replaces the print publication «12 Swiss Books», which went through eight editions, and starts with a selection of 12 works of fiction and four children’s books. Test translations of excerpts in English and portraits of the authors provide insights into each of the featured works. Interviews with book industry professionals help put the works in the context of current trends.

As an additional service, all contributions from the «12 Swiss Books» publications since 2017 are available, too. A search function invites you to browse, and a filter enables systematic research by language, genre and year. The platform is updated several times a year and supplemented by further new publications. We look forward to numerous new translations, which we will be happy to support.
