Swiss Authors Touring Russia

Pro Helvetia Moscow continues to promote Swiss literature and Swiss authors in Russia.
In the late autumn 2018 together with Philosophicum Culture and Education Center in Basel a group of Swiss author and artists were setting off for the Russian tour. Among them were writer and playwright Ariana Koch, professor and new media expert Roberto Simanowski, writer Jonas Lüscher, and economist and futurologist Karin Frick. Authors presented their new books and participate in discussions, stage readings, and meetings with the readers. The tour included Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Reutov, Tomsk, and Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk.
The programme culminated at the KRYAKK, Krasnoyarsk Book Culture Fair, on November 1–4. The launch of the Russian publication of Kraft, a novel by Jonas Lüscher, 2017 Swiss Book Prize winner was the highlight.
Besides, the programme featured Swiss artists Kasya Klimpel and Esther Hunziker’s shows at FUTURO Gallery in Nizhny Novgorod. It was to display their works dedicated to nature and human integration into its processes.
