On September 8 – 9, «SamArt» theatre hosts the 12th International Theater Lab for Young Directors, the platform for interaction and collaboration of the graduates of Russian theater schools. The Swiss Muriel Imbach and Peter Rinderknecht take part in the event for the first time.
Director, teacher, actor, and playwright Peter Rinderknecht works with theatre producers, actors, and musicians around the world promoting theater for young audiences. Within the lab he is scheduled to present his mono performance, deliver a lecture, and give an open master class for theater actors, students, and teachers of the Samara Institute of Culture.
His colleague Muriel Imbach, director and head of the Swiss theater company «La Bocca della Luna», will show an improvisational project that gives the answers to the questions: «What are we doing on Earth?» and «What does it mean to be alive?».
The lab is part of the Festival of the Theaters for Children and Youth, «Zolotaya Repka (Golden Turnip)».
