September 8-10. Swiss Contemporary Music at the Festival «Asia-Siberia-Europe»

This year, International Music Festival «Asia-Siberia-Europe» features the works by contemporary Swiss composers Daniel Schnyder, David Philip Hefti, and Eliana Burki. The music will be performed by the alphorn player Eliana Burki, conductor Gevork Garabekyan, and Krasnoyarsk chamber orchestra and Mariinskiy brass quintet. All compositions will be premiered in Krasnoyarsk.
In her work, Eliana Burki experiments with various styles of music culture. She plays authentic Swiss music, classical, pop and jazz compositions. On September 8, at the Festival opening concert the alphorn will sound as a solo instrument in the academic piece, and on September 10, Eliana along with her guitar player Sylvain Gerhard and drummer Ivan Schteiner will give a jazz concert.
