November 4-15. International Academy of Young Composers in the New Format

International Academy of Young Composers in Tchaikovsky, one of the most large-scale international composers’ laboratories in Russia, marks its 10th anniversary. This year, 22 composers from all over the world were selected take part in the workshop. Swiss composer Oscar Bianchi is among the professors.
The jubilee program of the academy is split into two major parts.
On November 4-8, students and professors will collaborate online and from November 9 till November 15 – offline, in Tchaikovsky city. However, the programme will be finished with the live concerts in Tchaikovsky and Moscow where Russian musicians will present the works of the composers ever taught within the academy in the past including the Swiss Beat Furrer, Santiago Tomás Díez Fischer and Oscar Bianchi.
On December 19-20, within the second part of the project, all Academy participants are expected to get together to celebrate the jubilee. Moscow state conservatory will host offline master classes of the invited professors including Oscar Bianchi. The final gala will feature the new works of both students and their professors. More
