September, 18 – 23. Moscow. Ulan-Ude. Tour of Peter Zumthor and Vera Kappeler

Peter Conradin Zumthor (drums) and Vera Kappeler (piano) perform in Russia for the first time. On September 18, they play in the Moscow Cultural Center «Dom» and on September 20 – 23, at the «Indie-Classic» Festival in Ulan-Ude. In Moscow the musicians are going to present the compositions from their latest album and new works. For Ulan-Ude they have prepared the special programme which they named the «Poetry and Abyss».
Vera Kappeler is a classical pianist with her own distinctive style which combines jazz, folklore, and improvisational music. Peter Conradin Zumthor, her partner both on stage and in life, is a self-taught musician. He is known for his innovative approach to playing drums and enthusiasm for noise music. Despite the background differences, the duo has been able to create its own unique sound and now successfully tours around the world.
