October 6–9. Vladivostok. Performance by Lucie Tuma

ZARYA Center for Contemporary Art in Vladivostok is hosting a performative symposium Between One Northeast and Metageography: towards the new politics of geographical imagination. The program of discussions focuses on the topic of Russia’s Northeast, or Primorye region, as part of the single Northeast area with its ethnographic, political, social, and cultural characteristics.
The list of symposium’s participants includes Swiss artist Lucie Tuma. On October 6, at the opening of the One Northeast show, she will be introducing her Drawing Dances performance inspired by Korean artist Jongil Choi and his works. On October 7, Lucie is running a somatic workshop. More
