October 26—November 5. Swiss Authors Touring Russia

Supported by Philosophicum Centre in Basel, Swiss writers Antoine Jaccoud, Alex Capus, Lukas Linder, and Fanny Wobmann are going on a Russian tour to present their new books, as well as take part in discussions, stage readings, and meetings with local readers. Their itinerary covers Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Irkutsk, and Krasnoyarsk.
The tour will culminate at the Krasnoyarsk Book Culture Fair (October 31—November 4). This year, the fair is dedicated to the topic of ‘a local, private history.’ Russian visitors will see the launch of Alex Capus’s novels The King’s Children and Life Is Good, his collection of short stories 13 wahre Geschichten (‘13 True Stories’), Lukas Linder’s book Der Letzte meiner Art (‘The Last of Its Kind’), and Fanny Wobmann’s novel Nues dans un verre d’eau (‘Naked in a Glass of Water’).
