From October 26 to November 3, Voronezh is hosting the V Children’s Theatre Festival ‘MARSHAK.’ This year, the festival focuses on teenage plays.
As one of festival’s key innovations, visitors will enjoy a theatrical awards ceremony for the best participants. Children will get to decide which plays to pick from the programme according to which criteria, and will also ‘compose’ an awards ceremony themselves. Swiss director Corsin Gaudenz will be curating the Jury project, for which he will invite 10 children aged 8–12 to participate in. During the festival, they will engage in discussions of drama and theatre and will come up with a scenario for the awards ceremony. More
