November 15–16. Insub Meta Orchestra
Started in 2010, Insub Meta Orchestra is all about experimental music and electroacoustics. The project emerged from improvisational practice of Cyril Bondi and Laurent Peter and eventually became an orchestra. Artists pay particular attention to interacting with silence, listening to electroacoustic sound, duration, mimesis (imitation), and non-hierarchical relations.
In Saint Petersburg, the orchestra is performing on November 15 at the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater. In Moscow, the collective is to play on November 16 at the New Space Theater of Nations. Before the start of their Moscow show, musicians will be running a workshop on improvisation.
