Moscow. Master class and public talks of Foofwa D’Imobilité

COTA is an educational programme on contemporary dance and performance.  It includes trainings, discussions, master classes of leading Russian and foreign experts as well as public events for a general audience.  Work on performance production in cooperation with a professional choreographer will become a peak experience for the project participants.

Foofwa D’Imobilité, the former dancer of the Stuttgart Ballet and the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, will be one of such choreographers this year.

On May 12, he will give a public talk will in the Gallery on Solyanka.  Foofwa will speak about his project «Dancewalk», its performance in different countries and the phenomenon of a dancing body in an urban environment.

On May 13, a master class and an open discussion on Swiss and Russian approaches to contemporary dance will be held in the TSEKH.
