March 7–15. Yekaterinburg. Marc Lee at Pixels Fest

Pixels Fest is a new international festival and contest of digital video art held in Yekaterinburg.
Its organizers will turn the facade of the Yeltsin Center into a giant screen to show video art from around the world, including 10.000 Moving Cities VR, a work by Swiss artist Marc Lee.
Thanks to virtual reality technologies, 10.000 Moving Cities VR will allow the viewers to travel in real-time through cities displayed as continually updated posts on social media platforms.
For more than twenty years, Marc Lee has been creating interactive projects, experimenting with information technology, and using online archives to create his own news channels—all by mixing audio, video, text, and images. He will share his knowledge and run a 4-hour long workshop called ‘Net art selfmade!’. More
