June 6, 7, and 9. Performance of Nicolas Cilins in Moscow Planetarium

«Conquest», a performance by the Geneva-based artist and filmmaker Nicolas Cilins came out from an interview with the researchers and curators of Moscow Planetarium. It tells the story of the Soviet space exploration without heroism, exoticism and media popularity. Cilins dedicated his project to those who are usually «behind the curtain» of the museum. Nonetheless, they live out the connection with the space odyssey and can testify what the space exploration means for everyone. «Conquest» is a playful and at the same time very reflective glance at the relations between the Planeratium and its visitors; between the past and the future. Performance involves unprofessional artists.

The show will be presented within the «THEATRUM 2021» festival, which features the projects on the edge of the museum, exhibit and scenic performative practices. More
