In July, the eighth season of DRAMA_talk: Between Text and Theatre, dedicated to contemporary Swiss drama, continues with the stage reading of Proving the Contrary, a play written by Olivier Chiacchiari and directed by Alexander Ryapisov.
Olivier Chiacchiari is a Geneva-based playwright, author of over twenty plays, and winner of numerous literary awards, including the National Swiss Award Welti-Preis. Plays by Chiacchiari are successfully staged in theaters all over the world.
The play Proving the Contrary is a psychological drama created as a chain of episodes — each presents a different interpretation of the same event: armed strangers unexpectedly attacking a quiet village. More
