July 16-22. Murmansk. Stefanie Knobel at «24/7» laboratory

«24/7» is a residency project for artists that takes place during the midnight sun. Located in Murmansk, «24/7» is targeted at researching the conditions of the modern worker.
The organizers envision four artists and art teams running four labs. The results of their work will be a twenty-four-hour marathon of events. Swiss artist and performer Stefanie Knobel will head the lab researching the (post)industrial fate of Murmansk. During her seven-day stay, Knobel will explore the city’s rhythms, and then will transform them into a series of workshops that will last for twenty-four hours on July 21. More
