Russian artist Tanya Akhmetgalieva goes to Basel to join Atelier Mondial art residence program.
Tanya is one of the most prominent young Russian artists who was a finalist in 2010 Kandinsky Prize and winner of 2015 Sergey Kuryokhin Contemporary Art Award. Her works are included in collections of Moscow Museum of Modern Art and museums in Finland. She works across graphics, video, and installation. The central theme of Tanya’s work is the diversity of human daily life.
In Basel, she will focus on producing a series of video and graphics, also plans to design several installations inspired by the Swiss Alps, as well as devote her time to free artistic experiments. Get more details
