February 3–4. St. Petersburg. Organum Novum

The Organum Novum Festival of Contemporary Organ Music features concerts and workshops by leading organists from Switzerland, Russia, and Poland: Michael Pelzel, Ilya Voellmy Kudryavtsev, and Roman Perutsky.
On February 3 and 4, the festival will introduce St. Petersburg public to music pieces that are very rarely performed in Russia. The program includes works by Klaus Huber, Gérard Zinsstag, Sergey Slonimsky, Alexander Khubeev, Anna Korsun, Katharina Rosenberger, Sergey Khismatov, and other composers. Not only will the audience listen to the organ solo, but also to the sound of organ in combination with electronic and other types of instruments. More
