The annual International Academy of Young Composers in Tchaikovskiy, in Perm region, is the only large-scale international composers’ workshop in Russia. Guest professors and world renown composers will give individual classes and hold public lectures. During the two-week session, young composers selected through a contest will write new works, which the Moscow Ensemble of Contemporary Music will later perform at gala concerts in Tchaikovskiy, Perm, and Moscow.
