Artist Talks and Workshops with Augustin Rebetez

Augustin Rebetez is an artist who combines in his sophisticated installations drawings, photos, video, texts and objects created of the everyday items. His portfolio includes several theatre productions for Théâtre de Vidy in Lausanne.

On December 2019, Augustin took part in the three-week long art residency in Metenkov House which resulted in the exhibit «Eat My Love», a total installation, inhabited by the representatives of the Ural Bohemians depicted with the help of photography. The travel to Russia became such an impressive and productive experience for Rebetez that he decided to continue his exploration of the Russian cultural context. This time, Augustin plans to make a longer trip to several Far East and Siberian cities to put together material for his future projects.
