Pro Helvetia launches open call for art residencies 2021.
In order to enhance cultural exchange and artistic collaborations between Switzerland and Russia, Pro Helvetia offers bilateral art residencies.
The eligible candidates are Swiss and Russian cultural practitioners active in the areas of contemporary art, theater, dance, literature and music as well as curators.
The main task of the residency is to provide artists and curators with the opportunity for professional development, assist in their work over current and future projects related to the cultural context of Russia and Switzerland and expand their professional network for prospective cooperation.
Pro Helvetia covers expenses related to travel, accommodation, workspace (on request), health insurance and per diem. On top of that, Pro Helvetia provides an expert coach. The duration of the residency is up to 3 months.
