The «Apartment in Yerevan» art residency organized by the «Typography» collective is a space of encounter and exchange of experience between Russian artists who have been forced to leave the country and their foreign colleagues. A residency of this kind gives the artists an opportunity to get to know the local context, to continue their personal research or to reassemble their artistic practice.

In September, Swiss-Armenian sound artist Varuyan Chetiryan and Bashkortostan artist Tansulpan Burakayeva will be in residence with the support of Pro Helvetia, followed in October by Basel-based artist and composer Jerome Gadient and Russian artist Dasha Dryamina.
